Well i figured since shes my daily driver for now i might as well open a build thread for my Cobra ;D. We dont have any Kymco 2T builds yet so im gonna have pics, and more pics....And of course, a few vids ... So far this is what she looks like... I like the yented cover. My uncles isnt like this I also like the all stock look, and it seems to be doing well at NOT drawing any extra attention lately :riding: ALL stock and 50MPH is no problem Future plans are just body and paint...CF signals, nothing to fancy because i dont want it sticking out at all  Maybe No2 under the seat

I think those vented covers should be stock on all scoots. That's a cool scoot because it looks like the typical 139QMB, 35MPH, scoots that are everywhere... but a 2T lives within.

Since it's a good brand, do the guages work well or do they still suck like most Chinese guages?

They work well...My speedo is broken currently but Uncles is dead on all the way through. The tach seems to be right on also!

Nice sleeper 2-stroked. I like the hockey-mask and it does resemble a 139QMB; ought to keep the heat off your backside.

Wow. As a big horror movie fan, now you need to make it a hockey mask up front. Put some 13s on it... maybe make it a dark blue like Jason's coveralls... blood drips... machete... something?

Its a good time for an update ! The Cobra has been running great!!! I ride it almost everyday and it has been very faithful :riding: . More than my DiTech was! All i have done to this thing is put oil and gas in and ride :thumb: . I have only pulled the seat bucket out once and that was when i first got it. The only thing i do to it is turn the idle/air screw in a quarter turn when the temps drop below 50 outside. It lets me know when it needs it by the high idle and lazy throttle transitions. Great scooters! Ide suggest one to anybody looking for a great daily driver. They are getting harder to find tho . Not sure the exact year they quit making them but i know they dont anymore. The S9 is allot bigger and heavier. I think the S9 is more of an Aprilia DiTech clone. I would like to take a Cobra and put a L/C set-up under it tho. The S9 and the Cobra share the same engine but the S9 (most of em) are L/C and the Cobra came in only A/C versions. I know a guy that owns a S9 L/C. I helped him get a iron sport kit for it and it ran really well (power wheelied) until he decided to drill the main jet  . I think it was spot on until he drilled it out to rich. He is wanna those guys that thinks because it has a bigger cylinder it needs a bigger main :spin: . The only real difference i could feel between the two was the A/C motor lost a bit of power after it warmed and the L/C ran stronger. Other than that the power was close with the same bbk on the two.

Good to hear it's doing so well for you. I think a lot of scoots can make pretty trouble free rides if we leave 'em alone. Once you do a mod or two the trouble usually starts. Not that it's unreliable, but it's hard to stop tinkering and it's always apart so you can't ride it. At least that's how it works for me.

I hear ya!!! I think im heading towards doing a few mods to this, i think??? Very subtle stuff, nothing visual. Maybe a better TD to get rid of that pesky 35MPH "hump" or "slump". I think i have mentioned it but these CVT,s are just like the GY6 49cc,s. Wonder if the trans gears are the same??? I like that because the parts are cheaper for the GY6! I will compare the two and take some pics... I wanna keep it 49cc,s as long as possible. I kinda like the idea of seeing what i can do with it. Besides, it will already do 50+ stock and that will already get me in trouble so i dont think i need a bb on this one....Yet! Some visual would be cool too but ide have to be careful with it. The local heat has been trained to know what to look for now. I would have to keep it far from the "race" look for sure! Im afraid to even bolt a pipe to it!
