the breather tube from the head to the gear box keeps blowing apart either off the head or where the two tubes connect over the transmission. runs fine either way. just curious what is the root cause and resolution if any of you nice people know. after it happened the second time I see oil over my garage. I didn't close attention to the oil level other than it had oil. could it be over serviced?
thanks.

yeah those. I don't have an airbox as I replaced that with an aftermarket filter. I am not sure what I did with the tubes from the last engine. this engine had both tubes interconnected. I found it curious but didn't really put two and two together until I started reading the responses above. I've now separated them and will devise some sort of reservoir for them.
thanks.

If you're talking about the hose tht comes from the valve cover, juste run it to an old fuel filter and attach it higher on the body. Works good on mine.

you can also get a PCV valve from scrappydogscooters and put a small filter from autozone on it, it will prevent oil from escaping and still allow engine to breathe.
