I was always into the old cb350's & rd350 , these used to be a dime a dozen , now demand big bucks. At one point you could not give the RD's away now even basket cases go for good money. In hindsight we should of brought all the standard RD pipes that people were throwing away in the 80's That FZ1 looks mint yes i had a RD350 was given to me by my bro in law in the late seventies but nowdays i would rather have a CB350 or a bigger Honda twin when i find the sugar nanna of my dreams

Some nice Hondas there in your link. The CLs are appealing for Dual Purpose use. Downunder in Kiwiland 40 year old vehicles get cheap Rego so theres no cheap old bikes unless you like unusual things that its hard to get parts.

I have a Honda shadow spirit that is rideable and a harley knucklehead that started as just a frame and part of an engine when I was 9. Gathering a part here and there since, maybe I'll be able to ride it one day.

I use a 2001 fireblade as my main weapon, currently undergoing cosmetic changes.

Much better looking than the newer blades. Good point but luckiliy it's not like that hehe I had only 1 minor crash with it on a gravel road, breaking the lower plastic (welded and sprayed black with a rattle can, you can see it on the pic). So I decided it's enough experimenting with colour mixtures and stickers and sprayed it silver I replaced the welded part with a good condition one too for peace of mind, here some pics Before After: Needs a new tank pad, a few small stickers, new grips etc over the winter

Nice job. Bikes look so much better with stubby exhausts, standard ones got so big to comply with sound levels

I had to cut the can in half to be happy with the look, Its also completely empty inside + exhaust valve pinned open and airbox valve ripped out. Its ridiculously loud but I like it that way, makes the adrenaline shoot through the roof.

I'd like to get one someday. Probably not anytime soon since as a 16 year old most of my money is being saved for a car. Also I doubt my mom would like me owning one.
That's why I bought a scooter, $300 on Craigslist, no insurance/registration to worry about, and very cheap parts/mods. Fun to work on and customize, etc.
Back to motorcycles, my dad does own an early 90s Yamaha Virago 750. I'd be very surprised if I ever got to ride it. 100% stock, he rides it maybe once a month or so in the summer. My grandpa owns and still rides a V-Strom. When I was little it was the coolest thing ever. Still cool.
