Update: business is slow in the shop, so I worked on the scooter. I ran the valves again, ex. right on .004, in. tight .004, readjusted to .004. These scooter batteries (4ah) new, are something else. Let the scooter sit for 3 days and only had 12.3 volts. Charged battery @ 2 amps for 15 min's. Scooter started right up. After enrichner kicked off, idle not smooth. Adjusted a/f, 1/4 turn out from closed is where it idle the smoothest (2150 r's). checked for vaccum leaks, none. If you throttle up slowly it does have a flat spot in it. I am going to remove carb. and see what pilot and main jets are in there. Because the plug is black. Don B.
