Iknow, iknow, a scooter is pretty hard to fit in a dryer, but it has to be dryed somehow.

Just try to keep the switches etc covered from the rain, or funny things tend to happen. I usually just cover mine with a trash bag. I've had to covers disappear. But apparently nobody wants a trash bag......lol

Well cant get scooter to start at all questioning bad starter switch as well as brake switches. Been having issues with this whenever things get wet. Usually when it dries will start but not anymore. Can the brake switches be bypassed by wiring together and to starter button wires to a regular push button switch.

You can kick start it without having to use the brakes. But then you have an unsafe issue with no brake lights...

Well, if it's an absolute must and you have no fear of being rear-ended or pulled over... Then take the wires from the brake switch and connect them together temporarily to start it.
If it's the starter button not working then you can jump the solenoid with a screwdriver or pliers.
These are just ways to start it. I'm certainly not suggesting you ride it.

Ok my brake light does not get brighter when i try either one with key on but not started. I am able to start it by "jumping" selenoid. Just don't wanna do that all the time. So in not sure if its just the starter switch or also both brake switches

Ok i tried "jumping" the selenoid to start it. Engine turns over but won't start. I has been sitting for 2 months without being started.

Has it had gas in it for 2 months while it sat? Could be bad.
You can check the brake switches if you have a multimeter. Look for no continuity between the 2 wires (multimeter should display 0L/OL) from one switch when it's not being squeezed. While squeezed it should display something near 0 ohms. If you don't get near 0 resistance with the lever squeezed, the brake light switch is not working.
If the brake switches appear to be working, see if one side of the wire has 12V+. You can also check that both wires have 12V+ when the lever is squeezed. If not, you need to find out why there is no power to the levers.
If you get power in and out of the brake switches, then see if you get power to the starter solenoid on one of the small wires, not the large cables from the batt and to the starter. It cranks when you jump the large cable terminals, so you know those 2 cables are doing their jobs.
