Well, I can personally testify that because of cannabis, I was able to wean off the prescribed heroin the doctors wanted to stuff down my throat and get off workmans comp headed towards disability and work and pay taxes again. My wife and a couple friends are dealing with cancer treatment so I know first hand the benefit for them as well.
Used to be a saying when we were wannabe hippy kids. God made pot, man made booze, who do you trust?
In the meantime I visit 8 graves every year, as a result of drunk drivers. In a state that spent $100k trying to put a dying man in prison for making CBD, and handed $2 million in welfare to a crooked booze maker.
Pretty sore subject in this state really, not even funny any more.
On the other hand, in a couple weeks we'll be headed to Manitou Springs on a 4 day scenic roadtrip, and Sedgwick is conveniently located just off the interstate.

Beer,regular, craft,but beer. Beer is good, bourbon with beer is also really good. Beer with bourbon and moonshine is also really good. I don't have a drinking problem because I don't drink tequila or vodka. Unless I can't get beer, bourbon, or moonshine. I like a good cabernet also.

I used to hang out with a bunch of guys who got stoned. 17 year olds we were then.
I can tell you this...unless you're high with them or gay, there's no fun in hanging out with a bunch of doofuss guys high on pot lighting each others farts.
I'm sure they were having a blast (no pun intended), but not so much fun if you're not high with them. It kinda ended my hanging out with them. Guess I just wasn't into the "Rocket Man" thing.

a little off subject butmerh has made a major comeback in my area. newspapers full of arrests daily. next town over has had 4 broad daylight robberies in the last week and a half. herion was a big player too untill the meth made its comeback. my sister in law is the head e.r doctor at the high point nc hospital and they had 14 od's in 2 hours from a batch of tainted herion. using horse tranqulizer to cut it. my step aunt got drunk and decided to try it for the 1st timd....we burried her 3 days later. please be careful in whatever ventures you partake. 😎 oh but do enjoy those ventures! Thank god we don't have marijuana overdoses, I think there'd be too many😂  |

You pull up to this place and theres a mean old ford with like a 9 inch lift on super swampers. |

 Im from Vancouver, with over 100 dispensaries scattered across the city. As much as I would prefer there not to be this kind of thing around my daughters school, I also would prefer that she choose to try marijuana over any of drugs that have killed many. Especially today's society, all the fentanyl, in 12 years when my daughter goes to high school guaranteed there will be so many more "potent" versions of whatever. At the end of the day, weed is a Plant and weed will always be the same 🙂Thanks just thought I'd say! Take care! |

I was a reefer smokin' long haired hippie back in the 70's,grew some potent stuff in the back yard too,amazing how many "friends" would drop by to visit...Deep inside though I knew I was a born gearhead(at 3 years old,,)and had to quit hanging with that life style(most of those "friends" are dead now),got into the aircraft mechanic field where drug testing is for certain and have never looked back!!

actually you'll find, at least in the US, that alcohol is pretty much every states most serious drug problem.

A/Ps are a bit more regulated than a guy in a window factory in Iowa I think ") My dad held his A/P, CFI with instrument etc, had a stable of Cherokee 140s for his flying service and a Tri Pacer X that was his lover i think...
