Ok so i bought a tao tao 50 and it ran for close to 1000km one evening driving after a pretty long trip (25miles) the belt shredded and it wouldnt drive. I cut it off and pushed it home. Thank God I was only about a 1/2 mile home. The scooter sat for about a week before i went and got a new belt. I live in Charlotte NC so there was a place close by that sells parts. After putting the belt on it went to crank it up and no go. its truns and starts to stumble but never fires up. Before this happened the scooter fired up with a half a second hit on the start button then one night it got tipped over and I didnt see it till the next morning. The next morning I had to charge it a bit and let it sit for a few hour then it fired back up but since then till the belt issue it didnt run quite as good. I need help I have some mechanical knowledge but not enought. Thanks In Advance Mike

Whenever a belt breaks, the whole CVT should be cleaned IMO. Belt dust and bits on parts can change the way they work. Help with that below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EjW-iSP-Q8Since it tipped over, check your oil. Could have got gas in there if the carb flooded and it ran into the engine. Also check your plug in case oil ended up in the cylinder and fouled it. See if there is gas saturating your air filter or lying in the air box.
