I have and will continue to post notes and upgrades on these engines at SD, but it seems the real "techies" might be hanging here. That being the case, I may go into further detail with tool building, assembling procedures, fabrication, even some off the wall parasitic back up oiling systems.
Most of this stuff is going to be race oriented, but some might slip over to the street scene too....you be the judge.
When I say my way, opinion, or whatever referring to how I do things, does NOT make it gospel. It's the manner of things that have matriculated down over 40 years, as to how I get things done now. I expect as times change, y'all bunch of youngsters with better tools, supplies, and materials will better my personal standards.
I HOPE you do. DO NOT let our mechanical trades descind to a bunch of mindless, skill-less plug & play parts changers. Keep it a skill, an art form, a passion.

Very nice. As I said over at SR, I can't wait to see what you're gonna do next. Going beyond your work... doubt I ever will. The fact that you do your own milling and machine work in your shop amazes me. I woulda built my other 2 stroke long ago if I had the skills and equipment to do the crankshaft clearancing and bore the cases correctly myself.
