The 50mm BBK hasn't really added any top speed- still stuck at 35mph, but it shines when it comes to hills. We have a decent hill one street over and baby powers right up it no problem! It needs a pipe... I didn't think my BBK would add top speed to my VX50 till I saw it finally screamed past the 8.2k RPM block I had hit before. You want a pipe. You need a pipe. YOU SMELL DA PIPE! Lol it's a 4t- a pipe wouldn't do much! |

Thanks for the compliments fellas! After riding this scoot 'round and 'round the neighborhood I got used to the wide handlebars and this thing is comfy! My father in law says I look good on it- it fits me well haha. I buffed the living crap out of every part before and after installation along with all the other little details I always do and she came out sweet!
Already got 1 text from CL after having it up for an hour... hope it sells fairly fast!

I've been out driving the GMW around trying out the 8g weights (much better! The stock weights were pretty light). The scoot stalled out on me. Of course I always think the worst and maybe it was soft seizing due to all the Fairings being on now- but I actually think it's running out of fuel. I think that fuel line I slipped over the pick-up tube may be to blame. I'm at about 1/2 tank now and I think the fuel is getting below the pickup tube level.... I'll try to fix it without making a huge mess!

Doubtful the 4T is soft seizing. Not sure why it needs a pickup tube at all, but then I throw petcocks away and don't fool with them so maybe I'm missing something. Unless it's got a reserve switch or there is some other point to that tube, I'd think it could go. I ditched the in tank filters when I converted to manual petcock on my scoots that had screw on petcocks.
