Also make sure you buy a clutch with a brace like the malossi delta. Normal clutches will warp under the high stress.

Thanks for the input. Even with the adapter it still has to funnel down when it goes into the engine...I think I woild be happy with that Metra kit. I beleive I have seen ob e that has been on ebay for a while. But I think it is air cooled. That r/t cylinder is really nice. I think if I had my choice I woild buy the mx90 I think it is called. But its outta my league. You could increase the transfers by making the cylinder wider but u still have to get the mixture into the case. I know that 190 built his own adapter at some point and used mx cylinder. I know if u run a cylinder to its limit longevity drops significantly. So like I said, if I can make 15 at the wheel "safely" I am all about it. You guys think the metra kit pro race would meet my needs? If it will make 20 hp and I dont havr it tuned too wild it should do ok for the street tuner a few times a month?

My 90 now makes good power and I think it is durable, I rode the shit out of it all summer here and temps where over 100-104 A nicely built 90+ motor is in mild tune no matter what you do to it,,they tend to run well for a long time.A high strung engine with wide/high Ex porting, long durations make lots of power for a short period of time,They are difficult to tune and liable to melt down with the slightest air leak, carb glitch, iggy change, plug heat range, compression increase,etc..BUT they are a blast for the times they run well!! Your Choice....

The exhaust is gonna determine the power and where in the rev range the powerband will be. You can go with a high-end cylinder and use a C16 or R1200 pipe..Then you keep the revs and wear a bit lower than with the pro race exhaust.
The pro race has also relativly small ports. If you compare it with the Malossi 7T and the Polini Evo kits you can see. Thats a good thing when keeping wear in mind.
