Wrapping up my other jog build and time to build the second so friends can cruise with me. What I have now, case, hoca vari, doppler crank. I have a new hoca 47 cylinder but dont know if I can make the power I want with it. With cylinder work and a new (roost hopefully) I hope to get it up to 13k. Do you think this bike will be comparable with my 90? More to come..

Or should I sell these items and build another 90? Tough decision to make. I do want this one to be faster, more of a rat rod.

The 70cc midrace stuff can match or exceed what a typical 90cc does as far as peak output. The 90 will most likely make better power across a wider RPM range, but with the pipe and cylinder matched up the 70s can make some pretty serious power at high revs. You will probably need to work on the cases, make sure you've got a good set of reeds, somewhere around a 24mm carb I'm guessing, and the CVT will need to be setup to bypass lower revs because you won't be making power there. I haven't tried making a standard port layout do 13,000RPM, but I suspect you'd see better results using a midrace cylinder to begin with. It's gonna take quite a lot of porting and adjusting and fiddling with the cylinder head to get a street/sport setup to run hard at 13,000RPM.

So sell the hoca bbk. I was also considering buying another 9o case and going with something like the stage 6 srt kit. I think about $1200 bucks I could have a 90 + cc that would really Lay down power. The srt comes with a spacer of some sort that opens up the transfers and im sure make big power. The design is a lot different than that of standard cylinder. Maube this kit

You'll have to get a waterpump and rad setup for all the L/C kits, the last 2 you listed are high end race parts, not a good street setup IMO..Total up what all the parts will be,Cyl Kit,pipe, carb, water pump, hoses, rad, will need a better ignition too as the flat line stock igg will fry a piston at high revs..

Some of those are using a 14mm wrist pin so add in another pile of cash for one of those cranks.
The hardcore race stuff is probably badass if all you care about is peak power and don't wish to really ride it, but I'd have to imagine they are pretty expensive and a good bit of effort to maintain for real street riding and not just doing a wheelie down the block and putting it away. All of that power will be harder on every component.

Whats your budget? In holland a lot of kids misjudge the price of building a proper race engine. Then by the time they are almost done sourcing all the parts they realize its getting quite pricey and they sell the whole enngine for a few 100€'s. Seen it sooo many times.
If you want i can keep an eye out for some nice ones and let you know when such an engine is for sale...

I dont haha e a budget per say, but have $300 a month to save. I figure 2k would build it. Radiator cost next to nothing. Just use heater core from car or a trans cooler. So tough these decisions. I would be satisfied with 15 hp at the wheel. What do you think the Metra kit is good for? The price isnt too high. Woild only need intake and pipe. I might ride it 1 time a week if that..I do need it to be fast as it won't have a license plate

The metrakit pro race is capable of way beyond 15hp...let's say around 20hp @ 14000 rpm. That's a true racing kit!
