I cant find the original topic about the carbon fiber reeds i cut but i want to say they are still holding up very well ! I had to work on my uncles (soon to be my brother-n-laws) Cobra yesterday. It wasnt idling or running very well around idle at all  . I was thinking reeds at first because i remember being told that the CF would fray and chip away if not sealed proper with an epoxy. Well after many months and 1,000,s of miles it is still holding well. The problem was the same we have been fighting on this scoot for awhile. The reed petals just dont like to stay sealed on this puppy, worn cage i think. I ended up cleaning it up and switching the reeds anyway. I got em to seal better and it idles and starts much better. I was just happy to see my reeds holding up well ;D BTW, they would see around 10,000RPM quite often

10,000 rpm/60 = 166 2/3 per second, ever consider just how fast that is, astounding.
