Got my first scooter, a cheap craigslist buy, Geely 50QT-14. I want to get some tune up items for it (filters, lubricants, plug, wire's etc.) Could anyone recommend a good site to order from?

Welcome to the forum! Check out the banner ads on the forum and also look in the dealer/retailer reviews area to find some spots that we've had good experiences with.

Thank you for directing me to the "Dealers Listing", seems so obvious once someone points it out. The scooter I have has the very common 139QMB engine. Do all of the sites for parts have messed up shipping and handling? A $55.00 order cost $25.00 for shipping...

Thank you for directing me to the "Dealers Listing", seems so obvious once someone points it out. The scooter I have has the very common 139QMB engine. Do all of the sites for parts have messed up shipping and handling? A $55.00 order cost $25.00 for shipping... First off, I have been toying with both a 2 stroke and 4 stroke (like yours) scooter over the past few months. I've been buying from lots of places, depending on where you are some are really fast at getting the order to you. Most process the orders right away. Parts for Scooters (PFS) is one I've made plenty of purchases from. They are located on the west coast of Florida and they usually ship things that day if you get it in early enough. I've also ordered from Scrappydog (see the above banners for PFS and Scrappy) and they are quick as well! Shipping for both has been reasonable. to me. If I were you, I'd do some reading around here. Look in the 4t Performance section, the Tech section as well for ideas on what to do and where you want to go with your scooter. When I bought my M1, it was to be a reliable ride for my ex. Now it's become my backup transportation and I just recently (today in fact) put in a 72cc big bore kit and cam. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, you can do your own tune up, repair or modifications and all the information you need is either already on this site or someone here has a brain with plenty to pick from. Your 139QMB is a 4 stroke engine, very common but not as plentiful on performance parts as most of the 2 stroke engines (1E40QMB for example) so look around and see what you can expect. They are pretty solid sound scoots when you learn how to take care of them and how to watch for trouble parts on them. Post some pictures in the Build section maybe? Give us some details on it and we'll help guide you. Some may influence you to go bankrupt too so be careful
