www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYPJk6vv_r0If you're interested in the tire plugging kit I used, it's made by Stop & Go and called the Pocket Tire Plugger. HERE it is on the manufacturer's site, and HERE it is on amazon a little cheaper. Stop&Go makes quite a few tire repair kits, but this seems to be the standard carry-along kit. They offer one with a squeeze-type tool to install plugs for about $10 more, but it takes up more space and to me the installation is pretty simple with the smaller pocket kit. I haven't seen it recommended by the manufacturer for this kit, but many kits, like the standard string type plug kits, include rubber cement to help the plug seal. You may be able to apply rubber cement to the underside of the mushroom dome on one of these plugs or on the shaft to help it seal. I'm not sure that it's necessary or if it really helps, but if you try it you should make sure the install tools are all cleaned after use.
