The reed cages are not interchangeable, the vino cage is bigger. While they look close, I think it would be a lot of work to get it to fit right. If you are interested, you can buy a new one for around $28

I found this reed cage on feebay a while back, I wonder if they will send you whats pictured, or a something else? Looks to be a nice upgrade.

Yes, it helps the fuel flow into the transfers. Also the trenching in the case itself improves the flow. Together they improve performance considerably.
