I'm planning to use this Hoca set from Partsforscooters.com for my pre-bug. I've seen other big name sets like Stage6, Malossi etc. that give some specs like their bearings can handle 16k RPM's etc. but I won't even be using a high-revving exhaust on mine (Leo Vince GP) so I don't plan to see even near those RPM's. I'm just guessing 10k if that. I also like ordering from Partsforscooters because they have me totally spoiled with 2 day shipping times but the crank bearings is not a bad place to spend a little extra $$ |

I noticed that about the kit too so I emailed the seller to see what he says. If it's for the vertical engine I might pick it up as long as my cases aren't bad. Also what seal kit do you guys recommend? I've noticed there is a bunch of different kits out there. Are some better than others? Also- just a quick thought: These engine cases are all aluminum so once you get it emptied of rust affected parts like the crank and bearings etc. (probably a good idea to replace CVT bearings too if it's been sitting and rusting a long time) you *should* be ok as far as any damage goes. Not accounting for any damage incurred during disassembly/assembly  I can only think of a few unlikely scenarios where engine cases would get ruined simply from sitting- but maybe someone else has a horror story to share? haha. |

So the guy responded to me. Yes it will fit the vertical engines, BUT it's only the exhaust. The guy changed the listing to exhaust instead of kit but in the description it still says ir comes with everything. Glad I asked him instead of just buying it.

The link and auction are still active. It says in description that other stuff is included too... That seller has a ton of negative feedback. Just from reading his feedbacks he sounds like a scammer anyway. I wouldn't buy from him!

Haven't really gotten anything done on the Zuma cause I've been working on getting the jog painted while I wait for the parts to come in from scootertunning.ca.
But I wanted to ask you guys opinion on a conversion kit I found. It converts the scoot from the vertical motor to a horizontal motor. Any one try one before?
