hi all i'm after a bit of help with my lads bike peugeot ludix blaster 50cc i have brought him for xmas i got it a few months ago it was running fine but got it out the other day and it wouldn't start so cut a long story short it has a weak spark with a new plug and coil and cdi. i've done a lot a lot of reading and the only thing i can find is the stator is only producing 30v ac at best at crank speed will this stop it from starting ?

You should be seeing more like double that on the power wire to the CDI most likely. Not sure if any of them match up to your engine, but there are a few Peugeot manuals here : www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/manuals.html

Have you cleaned the carb? did you leave it sitting with gas in it?
I'm just saying, it's a little weird that a stator just gives up when it's not even being used.
