Maybe some bicycle freestyle pegs that can be bolted/unbolted? Or folding passenger m/c pegs that can fold up ? Can add bar that is flush with sides of floorboard , then add bolt ons or foldups? Just tossin some ideas at ya! Now ya got me thinking of making some highway pegs on my ruck clone. im seeing some old school twisted rr spike pegs in my future..... good thread for the "Chop Shop Area!"

I would advise folding pegs for anyone else doing this. It was mentioned in the thread that oldgeek provided a link to, but when the pegs hit the ground on a hard lean they will try to lever the wheel off of the ground. If they are more narrow that wouldn't be such an issue, but for me to have room, still with my feet hanging over a bit, I can't get them narrow enough that they'd never scrape. Could be done as scooterpimp suggested though and made as a bolt-on that goes across the floorboard. Then they can be as wide or narrow as you like and also would not be so low like the ones I did. Also can be a safety issue in the event of a crash if the peg doesn't give.

Did several mini chopper builds using 1" pipe with threaded bungs that expand when you put bolts in them , they smacked snugly into pipe & used spring loaded folding (like on dirtbike) foot pegs .that way they would fold up if leaned too far or catch curbs etc. Keep ya from boomaranging

Something like this setup for a MP3 could be made quite easily using flat steel instead of aluminum.
