Hey guys i have a cold starter question for ya.
When its cold my starter seems to not catch, until about 2-3 times a try tell it catches. (the drill sound effect) This only happens when its cold (40 deg or less) and it will catch after 2-3 paus'es of the starter until it catches.
At first i thought it could be the bendiex spring but i'd like to know what you all thank. :scoot:

Sounds like the bendix to me. Since it only happens when it's cold, you could try to put the battery on a charger for a while before starting it when it's cold. That would tell you if the battery had anything to do with it.

Degrease bendix and lubricate with a light oil. Lubricant is too thick and not allowing for free enough operation of your bendix when temps are low.

I was thinking what ^^^^Step said. Clean it up and lube it.
