Thanks spaz12 Still not sure If I need that stuffer in my after market reed block. Wouldn't the maker include a stuffer with the reed block if it is really needed? In the 2nd link you posted, one guys says this ...unless you go to a complete new cage assembly... this confuses me more.

Now that I look more at your pictures I see that your stuffer doesn't fit in there right in the new cage. I wouldn't use it because it looks like it'll mess with the airflow. But you can always try it with it and without it and see what happens. Your motor isn't gonna blow up

Your speed is pretty good, but there is more in there somewhere. If you want wheelie power, a OR rear pulley is the way to go. I will take some pictures for you today when I get over to the warehouse. I have 2 OR style rear pulleys I am considering putting on my Vino, but fitting may be a problem.
As far as the reed block stuffer goes, my theory is if Yamaha put it there it must help. Its the only stock scoot I have seen that has a stuffer. It looks to me like it fits well enough to use with the new reed block.

Always use the stuffer. It doesnt matter if its a little loose in the aftermarket reed, its not going anywhere. EVERY performances reed has a stuffer. You just simple need them to get the best flow.

The grand axis is a 100. Should use the large spline axle. The lc jog rr had 12 inch wheels that should bolt on your jog

I had decent success tuning a pre-bug CVT for wheelies by shaving the faces of the vari, a bit longer belt (as you have already done), and a heavier torque spring to keep the rear pulley "in lower gear longer" so to speak. Popped the front wheel up so easily, the new owner asked me to tone it down a bit lol.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated. oldgeek I would love to see those rear pulleys of yours. So If you get the chance to take pictures please do so. I had some time today so I pulled the cover off get some pictures for you. I did the best I could, it is kinda hard to see the differences. This is a stock pulley 115mm This is the BWS 100 pulley 122mm. I use a Malossi OR belt with it, and it fits inside the stock Yamaha CVT cover without hitting anything. This is the Malossi OR pulley 128mm. It will not fit inside the stock Yamaha CVT cover. Though you may be able to grind the cover out enough to use it. I put the BWS 100 pulley on the Vino tonight and took it for a short test ride in the cold. It is a huge improvement over the stock pulley. I cant wait for it to warm up one day so I can ride it longer.

Thank you oldgeek! I can see the difference clearly. You have a Malossi OR pulley! *superjealous* So it is possible to use a stock rear pulley of a larger cc Scooter like the Axis 100 or BWS 100, very interesting. I know that the Malossi won't fit without grinding. At least that is what worked for Brent in one of his Videos. I would like to avoid grinding the 5BM case. So I'll go look for a Axis or BWS pulley and see how much they cost here. Thanks again for the pictures and all the work really appreciate it.

oldgeek Can you use the stock 105mm clutch and clutch bell with those BWS100 pulleys?
