The reason I ask is they have a 10mm and 12mm piston for Sport but it doesn't say what size that MHR rep piston is. I guess it's better to write them a quick e-mail and ask.

RaizerScooter Attack Germany has no flat rate shipping anymore. To ship a pipe now cost something like 57 Euro! I hope racing planet Germany still has flat rate though.

That's weird that they don't show the options for that piston. There should be several; 10 and 12mm and A-C sizes. I'm sure the email will get you an answer. That's the way things always work for me, when something is on sale, or discounted somehow then I don't have the money. That's a real bummer Um, what pipe did you decide on?

What's up with those A-C things on the Malossi pistons? Still can't understand what they stand for. I think the Stage6 pistons also use those alphabets right? Pipe? I am currently waiting on Lucass2T but I guess a Yasuni R should be a good start. The Yasuni C16 was recommended by PIG but that pipe does not allow you to use the center stand and I need the center stand. There is a 16.07 version which would allow you to keep the center stand but I doubt that you can get that pipe cheap or 2nd hand at the moment. Maybe a good summer sale or Yasuni Sale would be cool though.

Center stands need to be thrown in the trash as soon as possible. In my opinion The piston size is for cylinders that are a bit larger either from the manufacturer or from wear. The problem is that I have yet to see any site give the measurements of the individual sizes. I guess you need to call or email to find out. That cylinder has no lip at the top, so other than the scratches, it's not worn out and would just use an A piston. Assuming that it was an A to begin with lol. Sorry, someone else might have more info on that.

From the Malossi Store site So I guess when the time comes to order a piston you need to measure the cylinder wall distance and then order accordingly. Looks like they have ranges from 0 to D (0, A, B, C, D) 0 being the size when the cylinder is brand new? and then going up 0.01mm every letter until you reach a max diameter of 47.04mm ? Just a guess though. Regarding the center stand, you are entitled to your opinion. The current piston I have has a B stamped on it which would mean it is a 47.02mm piston.

Yeah, take a good accurate reading of cylinder bore. I used a dial bore gauge, but most don't have them. If you know the bore and clearance you want, then you can select the appropriate piston. Another option would be to use your current piston and measure clearance in the bore using feeler gauges. Measure the piston to verify it's spec. If your piston is sized to it's intended spec and the clearance that you get is acceptable, you order the same piston if you need one. Otherwise you order a smaller or larger piston to get the clearance you want. Some pics and info from one of the cylinder checks I did, in case it's of interest: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/136823/thread

Got the last parts in today and finally finished the engine! Man what a PITA that was to get all the parts together. Now I need to find a good, sunny day to mount the engine and hopefully it will fire up. Many thanks to all the guys that helped and advised me through out the small project of mine.

Hi Guys
Does anyone have any feed back on the Airsal sports 70 BBK for my Jog. Racing planet has them for $84 and I have a 10% discount code. At that price is it worth buying.
Thanks
