I have a hefty schedule this Winter. 1. Re-Do Mao. I'm working on a much higher compression ratio, flatside cab, gear change, lighting him with aluminum. 2. My 150cc Commuter. 59mm bore and a 4mm Stroker crank. 26mm OKO pumper CV carb with a ported head. 3. Building a few more stretched motor mounts for a 50cc QMB 139 scooters. The one I have was stretched 6 inches over stock. Assorted other crap that I'm forced to deal with . RD

All of those sound intersting to me. Please keep us posted.
Any detals on exactly what will be lightened with aluminum on Mao?

I'm looking into an aluminum frame. Rail style. But for sure a aluminum motor mount. Modeled after the steel stretched one I made. RD

That would be amazing if you did the whole frame. Dunno that I've ever seen a sprint GY6 50.

It's going to take a lot of studying. I, pretty much, know how to set one up. Just don't know what to set up, if you understand any of that hehe. Rake, trail, for a given wheel base and such.
First I'll measure the specs on the stock frame and then do a little reading on the subject.

I gotcha. I won't be of any help to you there, but I'd be glad to watch and learn. ;D
