Started to fix the front end again, some pictures will tell it all. How it used to be: How it needs to be: Was bout to start fabricating when this little thing dropped by. I got a nice stage6 streetRace all ready and prepped up to slap into it. While in digging into it, It will get some new seals for the crank. Also had to fix some electrical problem on it. Both headlights were not working. Turned out to be a connector that came loose. I gotta get me one of them little Zuma and build me something fun to fool around. Maybe this winter.

They aint pretty, but they do the job. Budget was tight and they were cheap. This little Zuma was rebuild from the ground up for the son of a friend of mine. Not much i didnt have to fix on it.

Tried to get the front wheel fixed last night, but without some heavy fabrications it wont work. The whole front fork assembly was design to accommodate the stock wheel, and since i will be hitting the road in 7 days, the stock wheel will go back on with a brand new tire and a nice coat of that orange paint. So the 13 inch front wheel gets a spot on the back burner list. Next i'll fiddle something to mount this as a seat: www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/schwinn-ultra-air-pump-bike-seat-0732421p.html#.VYPdTvlVikoGot a pretty good idea how and i ll post picture of my redneck engineering.

niz76, if you think the mirrors were bad, have a look at this: Its confy, but the look of it!!! I think that something could be done with it if i lower the whole rear body panels so it that the seat is at the same level as the gas tank, but that would be a LOT of work. 6 days now till i hit the road with it and i really dont have the time to go back that far in this build to make the seat fit with the bike. Its going back to the store this very morning. I'll fiddle something with the other seat i got.

Bought a brand new 10 inches tire for the front. While i was at the scooter shop, i saw the very same rim but in 12 inches and it fits on the same set of forks i have. Gonna save up and buy me a pair. I like the look of those little 5 spoke wheels, but if i buy them now, no money for the trip. The wheel got painted orange and fitted perfectly in the fork. Went out for a ride with it and it was wabbleling all over the road, turns out the motor mount bolt that ties the engine to the motor mount was bad. The threaded rod i used to make it was going bad. Back to the scooter shop and bought the proper bolt. $20 was a bit stiff for a single bolt, but safety first. Last picture might look a little weird, its because the front is in the air.

The seat is done, and its looking pretty good compare to that giant bicycle seat. Pictures here: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/12672/katastroff-4ss-bucket-challenge-guts?page=1&scrollTo=182600Went for a ride this afternoon, it runs good but a bit on the rich side. Gonna try to go down to a 120 main jet and see. The new seat is really confy, i could sit on it all day and not have sore butt. first ride i took, the sccot was weird it woot, my hose to the intake had fell off. Fixed it and its all good. Second ride, i hear this faint little noise in the front, like something hitting the front fender. The speedo pick up thing on the axle went bad. Will look into that tomorrow. So that's pretty much it for now. I'll probably fix/change stuff as issues hit me in the head, but this build is pretty much done at it is. I'll like to thank you all for your inputs, comments and cheering especially during my marathon week. I'm still tired from it, but vcation time is in 6 days so i'll relax then.

400 grit, then i washed it. When it was dry, i used break cleaner on a rag to be sure no oil was left.
