Custom Minarelli Subframe For Rear Facing Intake & Carb

And some info about the rear intake conversion.
As you all know minarelli style engine mount has a metal bar and a large screw that are in place for such a conversion

The solution, buy a premade subframe, or make one, general guidelines


So, this is how mine looks like 


This is an el-cheapo malossi-clone straight intake (ignore the subframe on the pic, it was a failed experiment)





as the intake circumference was bigger than the one on the carb, I had to make a olution, bodgejob-style

I swapped from a Jog short case with a whatever 10” to a CPI longcase with 130/70-12 and had to move the engine to the left of where the S6 mount wanted it to get things centered. The offset difference for the wider tire was more than just cutting new c-clip grooves would have allowed. I thought I had some pics, but can’t find them now.
