;D I was scaning thru a Auto and RV mag. come upon a ad for scooters. They have a VIP MC01 they say it is a 50cc on a 125 cc frame ($675). Another ad states 150cc scooter on a 50cc frame ($499). How can this be? I always though that the engines mounting points where different for the 50cc against the 125 & 150 cc's? Don B.

Usually the mounts are different. The 139QMB has a mount on the bottom, very front. The 150s have a mount at the top near the front.
Perhaps they just mean one is a large frame and one is a small frame? Maybe some scooters have dual mount setups? One-offs? I'm not really sure.

I think they just make things up out of thin air. I like the one that i saw that said "automatic transmission, no extra charge."
One of our local car dealers sells scoots out of a crate. He comes up with some funny ones.
I think Brent is right. They are just trying to say "big" of "small". Or hinting that you could drive the 150 illegally with-out registering it.

Right, it is just a smaller frame scooter with a 150cc in it from the crate. If it is built to suit a 150 (mount wise) from new, well then it will fit.
