Just thought everyone should know that MRP know has parts for the United Motors scooters
Joel says that they bought out the parts for United MOtors here in the US. So if you need parts for a United Motors product go to your MRP dealer..
There is one here on the shore in MD. It is Williamsburg Motorworks in Williamsburg.
It is just outside of Federalsburg. Bill, the owner is a great guy and very honest and he will help you anyway he can.

Thanks for the info Bill.
I dunno if it was Bill, but I called Williamsburg once about a BBK for an Eton. I was less than impressed. Whoever it was really wasn't friendly and wanted to give me zero info on the phone. Just wanted me to bring it in and they could put a BBK on under Eton warranty. That's nice, but I don't really need the labor charge, just wanted to see what it would cost for a kit and if they had any details beyond it's a 70cc. I couldn't even get a close estimate on the price of the BBK. Again they wanted me to bring it in. That was the last time I talked to them. I did refer everyone to them when I stopped playing games with the scooter guys around here. Then I thought, maybe that's why whoever was so unfriendly. I got calls from a select few on a regular basis looking for info on BBKs and how much I would charge total and spending an hour on the phone answering questions and they would never show up with cash. One guy called multiple times over a year and would tell me how he had the money coming, never did see him. So yeah, they may not be so bad afterall. Just kinda sucks cause I know I'm not BSing about a bbk... look around. lol

Brent, I am sorry about that.. I guess Bill can be stupid at times.. I guess cause I am friends with him is why he treats me well.. I also know about those guys in the area wanting you to do things on there scooters.. I had a bunch from Federalsburg stop by wanting me to work on there scooters. I only had on stop and wanted a BBK put on and he had the cash so I did it..
The others wanted things done but never came back then after they went to Scooterboy in Salisbury who took a lot of their money they came back to me.. I sent them on there way..
But hey it is what it is and again I am sorry he acted that way.. I would love to get with you to help me with my United Motors XSpeed 50 R.. I want to put a uni filter on it but just can not seem to get it to run.. It will rev up untill I put a load on it then it just bogs down and almost stops.. If put the stock air box back on it runs fine..
any ideas??
thanks,' Bill

That sounds like part of the same group of guys. Ask me about stuff then go to ScooterBoy and pay a ton, then complain to me that ScooterBoy is too slow or too far away. Don't get me wrong, some of them are cool fellas, but a few bad apples can ruin a whole bunch. I prob got that saying wrong, but you know what I mean. lol No need to apologize for anyone else either. Like I said, after my own dealings with them, I got it. I ended up with "Keep Away From Me" by Godsmack as my ringback tone and a message saying "I will not return your call about scooters. I don't do that anymore. Please don't leave me a message." They still called and left messages and eventually I changed my number to get them to stop. Some people just can't take no for an answer and it really doesn't pay to be nice. Seems like you gotta be a little bit of a jerk to make it.
Your scoot is lean. Upjet, adjust idle mixture, and change needle position if necessary at that point.
