So I finally got around to installing a set of rings in a 1e40qmb and no matter how I tune the carb it bogs a lot as soon as I let off it purrs like a kitty starts first kick idles smooth just can't get past 7mph before she bogs down

Sounds either rich or lean. Can u give some details on carb jetting?

Is the air box installed and in good condition? Possibly a main jet clogged or improper main jet size.

Imma go outside soon and swap carbs I have 3 I'll get the sizes of the jets on all and its a rear facing carb the air box is fine just no foam could that be that big of a difference?
