The dream scoot I'd like to have would be my own design,2T(naturally),LC,rotary valve, modular engine design so different size cases/cranks&cylinders could be used,13" wheels and grippy sport bike type tires, quick detach body panels for easy access, programmable ignition adjustable on the fly, strong disc brakes..Now all I have to do is win the lottery since Ive got a plan!!

Hello everyone. Greatest scooter ever, I dream of it all my life Excellent choice Yin! the Tao-Tao runs forever and ever, it leaves the Zuma in the dust!!! I own this model for 1 year and put 17 thousand miles on it! Very reliable and superior technology!
I also own one of these (pictured below)--sold my Ruckus and bought it. Best decision ever! I wish to recite poetry about it:
"The sun shines on my Tao-Tao/my love for it never fades/its beauty is eternal--as the moon reflects light from the sun, my Tao-Tao reflects the glory of the universe/Tao-Tao"

If you could afford any scooter you wanted what would you get? All of them. I dunno. I have so many scoots I'd like to at least try out. A direct injected Aprilia 2T 50, a big 600+cc like a Suzuki Burgman, a Sachs Madass... the list could go on and on. I have noticed the 2105 Yamaha SMAX. It sounds like a fun little scoot to me. 155cc LC EFI 4V 4T that claims about 80MPG with a 2 gallon fuel tank. I've read 3 reviews claiming 70-80MPH speeds. It's supposed to fit a full face with room to spare under the seat, which no scooter I've ever owned or rode will do with my XXL helmets. It's nothing terribly fast or exceptionally good looking, but I like to ride and I like medium to small sized scoots quite a bit so it sounds like it would be good scoot to rack up some miles on. That SMAX sounds like an incredible runner for 155cc. I'm looking for a lighter 'town & two lane' scoot. Although the looks of most big wheel scooters has never appealed to me the ride on rough roads should be better than those with 12 or 13" wheels so I've been looking at used Honda SH150s, People 200s and Sym HD200s as possibilities. A huge top box would be mandatory. As far as dream scoots go I guess My Burgman 400 fills the bill pretty good for me. Why? * Most under seat storage of any scooter in the world. * 60 - 65 mpg hwy. * 200 mi. possible on one tank of regular gas. * 75 - 80 mph cruise speed. * Time/ambient temp/mpg/oil change reminder/Check Engine readouts on dash. * Good wind/weather protection. * Japanese quality and good dealer support. * Dual disc frt. brakes. * Paid $2500/only 1900 mi./had to replace $230 lower plastic panel. ('08 model bought in '13)

My ol lady always wanted me to get a side car for my old Suzuki savage. She don't like the leaning when riding and to this day she won't ride a bike lol
