Hi Fellas! I've been busy busy with flip scoots lately. I actually already have two flips in progress that I'm waiting on parts for but I got a phone call about this Cordi and decided to seize the opportunity.
This is an excellent example of keeping good contacts and communication! The seller of this scoot actually called me. You may remember a gentleman named Charlie back during Flip #12- the other Daelim Cordi. He was interested in the other Cordi because he already owned and put over 12k miles on it with no problems. His scoot still ran good but was wanting to trade it in to me plus cash to get the other Cordi which was identical to his but with 1/3 the miles and it looked brand new like it just rolled off the showroom floor! The day we were supposed to meet up it didn't happen. Apparantly Charlie ran into some legal snafu with his driver license and wasn't able to do the deal. I've been there done that with the legal stuff and it can really throw a wrench into your life! Since then we have been in contact a few times through text and Mr. Charlie contacted me other day and said if I wanted the Cordi for $275 I could have it. I took the trip the next morning
Charlie even threw in a few extra goodies with it: A winshield, an aftermarket storage box for the rear- a nice heavy duty one, not the usual cheapy ones that rattle like crazy- and a MX helmet size XS. The helmet fits my daughter perfectly and I think she may like it better than her plain black one. Thanks Charlie!
The scoot is in pretty good shape and runs good too. I only had to adjust the a/f some (it was lean at idle and acting erratically) and I also welded a plate in where the center stand rests against the frame because it was hard to roll the scoot forward and get it off the stand plus it wasn't holding the rear tire up off the ground...
For some reason the whole valve stem blew out- not just the core from the middle but the whole actual brass part came separated from where it was glued into the rubber part of the valve stem. I didn't get any pics but luckily I had an extra one and thanks to Brent's video to guide me I got 'er done. The engine compression is good at around 130psi and I've cleaned it up the best I can. The only other thing I need to do before resale is to grease the kickstart assembly as it kinda sticks and doesn't return back to it's home orientation.

The only thing I was a bit bummed about is that he couldn't find the battery cover piece so I'll have to get a little creative and come up with something.
