I have 2 BBk's not sure when I am when going to install them. 1 is a Airsal T6 aluminum 2-ring the other is a Top Performance Trophy cast. Going to use a Stage6 Street or Leo Vince ZXR on a stock Zuma crank. Ive seen 1.0mm to me it should be .80mm

You gonna ride it on the street allot? If so go around a mm. Its not REAL important on a street 2T. As long as its not sparkknockin its good. I would lower it to the point that it is, then give it a little more until it quits. I have odd ways of tuning some things tho..lol Most people just punch in numbers. Ive found that the numbers mean jack sometimes.

I'm with them. Technically for max performance I've seen less than your .8mm, but that's probably asking for trouble on a street scoot. My 90s call for as low as .9mm and whenver I get near that it's nothing but trouble. End up with excess heat and spark knock. You can sure squeeze more compression in that way, but it's really only good for short bursts like drag racing. The only wat I've been able to run the low squish settings is by enlarging the combustion chamber. Then you end up with pretty much the same compression as the greater squish clearance setup and basically the same power... you just spent more time and money to accomplish it. lol

I have instruction with the TPT kit. The tech features show compr. ratio as 1:12,5 you think there would be a squish spec to reach that ratio. That kit has alum. base and head gasket which it says to dampened with oil.

I never thought about dampening with oil! Makes sense tho with the aluminum gaskets. That oil will get good and hot and coke (bake) on there sealing the surface better im assuming??... Caster oil would be great for that. That stuff will stick anything to anything with enough heat!
I ran .5-.6mm on a couple set-ups. They worked good for about 5-10miles on the street before ide get detonation with one set-up. At the track it never was a problem.

I'm running 0.65mm on a street scoot. Then again, I always have been slightly mad.
It runs fine with high octane fuel.

I will add, those Stage6 exhausts have a good reputation, I'd have one any day.

well now you've all got me rethinking my 1.34mm squish maybe too much.

Just something I did on my 50cc Zuma and it made a big diffs. The stock hump head 1.72mm squish was to put the head off my Vento with the flat type squish and went to 1.32 squish made a night and day diffrents. I think its best to get the squish close without detonation. I am not going tighten the squish on it because I am going BB. I cc'ed the 2 heads Zuma 5.7ml - Vento 5.5ml. I have a MotoForce head that I had milled to the combustion chamber and cc'ed it 4.2ml I am going to try it before the BBk.
