Hello everyone! Nice to be here. To: Any of you out there who know of, or own a Honda Metropolitan - Can I get my rather petite (108lb) girlfriend behind me on the seat? I will be adding the rear rack and trunk to the scooter as well - I thought this would help. Thank you for any input you can provide. Scoot On!

They are really tailored to 1 rider. You can make anything work if you really want it to, I suppose. They fit families on scoots overseas. I would suggest getting her to hop on the back while still and see if she can even get on in a way that is comfortable and most importantly safe for both of you. Not sure about the Metro, but I don't believe it has any spot for a passenger's feet. If you have to sit so far up that you can't move well or your riding ability is compromised, remember you are then risking the well being of both you and your girl.

If you don't have a Motorcycle Endorsement then you might want to check your local laws. I know in some states, in order for it to be considered moped it can only have ONE rider. If you go over one rider then it no longer falls under the moped rule. Now I don't know how many cops actually realize that, but it only takes one!

:welcome: my wife has an 07 metro, and i'd have to say alot of how the 2 of you fit will be your size also. now my wife hits in about 120, and my daughter hits in about about 110 and they ride on hers ok together. not comfortably cause no passenger footrest, but they do it. i don't recommend it cause its truly NOT meant for 2 but it is possible.

Notice how the father in the last picture has on a full-face helmet but the wife and kids are bare-headed. "Hey! I love my family."

I think the most fun way would be to let her sit in front of you whilst you manipulate the controls or whatever else strikes your fancy. :riding:

law applies here too. Moped, no passenger. I've seen it a lot though, and I think it's ignored for the most part.
