I never browse craigslist, so here's an older ad from my area that amused me too. It's a 150cc scooter that amazingly needs no license or tags! ...And all this time I've been wanting to get my M endorsement, I coulda just bought one of these. easternshore.craigslist.org/mcy/2059515808.html |

i actually found one of those 150cc's in indy yesterday for $75, needs a new top end including jug. the guy THINKS its an 05 tank urban racer, he's not sure. also the guy told me he ran it out of oil, hence needing the top end. so that tells me its also got an oil leak somewhere. just not real sure about it.

I just assume it's a stock 49cc since no details are given. It's not a bad price if you want a stretched and raked scooter. Monster GY6 sells their engine swap/stretch brackets for almost what that scooter costs. If you paid a shop the labor charges for what's done there, you'd have quite a hefty bill. For that purpose, it's quite fair. Now if someone just wanted a ride, that's overpriced for a stripped down 49cc scooter. There's a lot of stuff missing.
