Keyway flash 50cc

Hey guys I have a starting issue with my keyway flash, I've spoken to many people about it and they all have no idea why it doesn't start anyway!

I brought a messed up Keyway flash 50cc It has a new block, fuel going through to the engine, it sparks has a brand new carbortor and the battery starts.

But when I put some easy start and turn it over it fires over but sometimes as I put some revs into it it dies l,the timing of the bike is right so there is no reason why it shouldn't start really I was wondering if anyone could spot a few basic mistakes

Adjust the valves
Check the compression

what's the size of your main jet? Might need a bigger size .

I think the flash is a two-stroke, so you won't have adjustable valves.

You say it's getting fuel to the motor, but only starts with starting fluid. So if you don't spray anything into the cylinder or carb and then try to start it, is the plug wet? If not, fuel isn't making it to the engine. If so it may be an improper mix or perhaps the fuel is old. Also, make sure the airbox is installed and in good condition. They will not run well or at all sometimes without the airbox.

I was given one of those the frame used to hit the carb so i ground clearance in the frame to clear the carb. It went well but was unreliable

to me I would say sounds like an air leak check all rubber for cracks even the carb mount might be cracked also if 2t might be bad reeds possible or bad reed seals but bret (90gtvert) know best
