Sorry if this has been covered already, but what is the best way to support the forum to avoid fees? I assume Paypal? I'll be canceling my Patreon support and going with a monthly PayPal donation (if that avoids the most fees) instead because Phuck Patreon.

I don't even honestly pay much attention to my Patreon because there has been little interest. I reached $2.20 one month, and then it went to $1.56 for the last few months. I think that's with $3/mo pledged and then $2/mo. I've been on Patreon for a year and a half and I've made $6.60. I don't like to be like everyone else and ask people to give me money in all of my videos though. Don't think I've done it in one video actually. Anyway, if you want to do like $1/mo, then Patreon is a little better. Looks like I get $0.64 out of $1 there. If you do $1 via PayPal, IIRC I get to keep $0.33 of it so you're donating more to PP than me with dollar donations. After the first dollar, they aren't nearly that bad though. As far as what benefits me more than the middle men, I'd do better if someone donated $10 once per year via PayPal than $1 a month because of fee structures. Thank you Kenho21! |
