And i thought my early days editing 2 inch video tape were tedious.
I do remember when my friend in IT called me down to his office to show me this new concept called a GUI and a mouse. He was a good friend so i was polite and acted as enthusiastic as i could. All the wile thinking "how nice for the accountants but it's not like we will ever be able to edit video on that thing so who cares..."
...i've always been insightful like that...
BTW, PLEASE tell me that is you in the picture!

Wow. I thought I dated myself with my PC history. My computer experience started with the Apple II in elementary school. Playing Number Munchers, The Oregon Trail, Odell Lake, Paratrooper, and typing games. lol We got our first PC when I was in middle school. An IBM PS/1 with a 25MHz processor and 2MB of RAM. I forget what the hard drive was. I do remember upgrading, after a failure, to a 400MB drive. I couldn't imagine what we'd do with all of that space. lol

LOL, the card punch machine brought back visiting my Mothers work place. First home computer, a Tandy 1000, 28k of ram ( I upgraded it to 56k ) and no hard drive...my older daughter learned the alphabet playing Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune..., she was reading 4th grade level in kindergarden. Wonder if she picked up her vocabulary and spelling skills on those games.
