Still looks like a pair of women's legs upfront but it's sharp.

I think the orange looks great too. Are those the original bars Niz or did you have those already sitting around painted orange? Can't wait to see it back on CL or are you going to add it to your Adly collection?

SOLD! I ended up taking $550.
Just converted another former "Peace Sports" owner over to the Light! Lol. After hearing nothing but crickets since I put the scoot up for sale this fellow called yesterday (Sunday) and told me his story of how his scoot got stolen and he needs to buy a new one. I've been in that position before and know it sucks so I ended up taking $550. He also had a prosthetic leg- which didn't seem to slow him down one bit- and was really excited at the prospect of adding a BBK and pipe for some speed! I wrote this 49ccscoot.com address on the title envelope and told this is THE place to be for anyone wanting to dig into their scoot.
I did end up making a video to add to the craigslist ad since I wasn't really getting any calls (The videos work great for selling scoots!). Here it is!

Congrats on the sale! Other than being out the $550, that's probably the best thing that could happen to a former Peace Sport owner. I sold my flip Zuma this weekend too so it was a good weekend to sell on CL. I sold it to the guy that trailers them to Key West and sells them off his trailer. He only sells Zumas. I followed your lead and put a video on Youtube. Here it is in case anybody is interested: Paid $250 for it in a box, put $300 worth of parts, sold for $1000.

Thanks Niz, This is actually my 3rd flip although this was originally going to go up to UF with my daughter. She wanted something a little smaller (and more girly). I found the '09 Vino Classic in Jacksonville with 72 miles on it so that's what she will take to UF.
The first flip was when a friend gave me a Keeway ARN 125 a couple of years ago. It needed a carb and a petcock to get it running again. I got $550 for that one. Then I fixed and sold the Verucci that my son had at UF originally. I bought that for $350 and sold it for $550. I would like to find some Chinese mina clones but they are getting hard to come by. That Zuma deal was once in a lifetime.
The Key West Zuma guy did tell me something interesting however, He said he only sells 50cc bikes because if he sold 3 a year of anything larger, Florida would require him to get a dealer's license from the DMV. Apparently they don't consider 50cc scooters motor vehicles and are therefore exempt from having to get a dealer license. He said a Zuma that sells for $900 to $1000 here will sell for $1500 in Key West. He said that's all they want however. He said Chinese bikes don't sell for any more than anywhere else. Everybody needs a scooter down there and everyone wants a Zuma. Niz, if you come up with another Zuma flip, let me know and I will get you in touch with him.
