Tao Tao 50 3 days old. Electric starter worked first night., now have to kick start it. Battery was tested and is good.when i turn the key no lights no nothing. But starts right up with kicker. While bike is running, everything electrical works perfect. Very strange/annoying.worked fine first night almost like i blew a fuse or something. Please help if this sounds familiar.

Very likely did blow the fuse for some reason or another. It's usually a glass type and located by the battery in small plastic holder.

Thanks for letting us know what it was.

If it's something else, others have pointed out that with new scoots, better to take it back right away than to futz with it too long.

Sometimes this gets overlooked. ? The fuse Niz mentioned (15amp) i noticed sometimes the clamp part on fuse can be off also.
