help.
my clutch springs and everything are all setup. 50cc elite sr 2001 scooter. 2000rpm clutch grab springs and 1000 rpm contra spring in the clutch. stock roller weights, with a couple replaced for less weight. i have switched teh stock carb and airbox for the af18 version, which just gives me an adjustable slow jet. have a jws v8 pipe, but not the big one, and not the small one, the inbetween with blue bolts, if anyone goes to his site and looks. so its a free flow exhaust. ive tried to tune. but im not really sure. ive cleaned out the carburetor. it starts up easy. well, when i first was mesing with it, it would smoke at half throttle and like spit up until it got thru it then itd quit. stilla little coughy at mid throttle thou most of the way, while i ride. ok, so i moved the needle clip from 4 notches down, to 3. put it in the middle. it quit pretty much snmoking and coughing up at half throttle, except yesterday, or something it was colder than crap out. though. but it quit after like the first throttle rev. anyway, so ok, its starts up. i had to switch from 40 to 35 pilot, cause well, 38 seemed clogged, and it was really flooding, i think. you couldnt give it no gas when you started it or it would not start. ok so now, it starts up. goes pretty good. but right around 1/4 throttle, it starts to bog, then at 1/2 throttle, it will just quit. i had a hard toime starting it back yesterday, after i stopped to make a turn. i mean, i haven't checked my psark plug or done a chop on the main jet yet. but it's not running real bad, so its running,a nd its been too cold and i been too tired to check, but i haven't done much running. anyway, i dont knjow if its lean or rich, but its running fine. so can't tell on main. but half throttle kills the motor. it just dies. anyone can help me? i need some help tuning my carb. thanks.
