Again, thank you very much for your reply. I got very good advice so far from all you guys and I guess I'll just go with it as is (without) premix and if I anything should happen and I send the BBK to its nirvana then it will be a lesson well learned.
Just out of curiosity, could I "theoretically" keep the oil injection pump and keep adding a tiny bit of oil to the gasoline tank just to be on the safe side? Or would this be overkill?

This place is full of great advice from a lot of great tuners. As for using the injection pump, and still adding oil, I can't Say that its a grew idea, but that's what I do. I add about a half ounce more or less to each tank of gas. That's not enough to foul the plug, but it brings a small piece of mind. The one time my pump did stop, I was able to know, by the way the bike sounded and smelled, while only getting oil from the gas tank. As soon as I noticed I shut it down and saw that my feed line had gotten chewed up somehow

You could go that route, with my first bbk, the oil injector wasnt pumping enough oil and fried my cylinder and piston and more than likely my engine as well, havent split cases ir anything, just bought a used scoot lol.

crazy, OUCH!!!!!!! I soft seized a time or two, before I started adding oil to the fuel. Ya know, its funny. After doing this for a little while, you can damn near diagnose a lot of things by sound and smell. That's what kept me from seizing last time, the sound and smell from the pipe. The oil from the injection pump, doesn't by itself cause a lot of smoke. With the added oil in the fuel, there is a bit more blue smoke. Also, as you get used to your specific bike and setup, you learn what it is supposed to sound smell and feel like, when in good tune. Therefore, you have a slight advantage over a lot of people. Using your senses to diagnose malfunctions is, by no means fool proof. It's not science, or a tech tool that you can buy. Rather, its an art. Once you are used to a 2t engine, you can use your " gut " to get an engine in the ball park. Some may even get in good tune, but for the most of us, its just a ball park kinda thing. A small amount of oil added to the tank, won't be enough on its own, but will be okay as long as your pump is working. Rather, its a preventative measure, a just in case thing. If a pump stops pumping oil, most of us would hear the difference, but probably not soon enough, ergo the extra oil added to the tank. I am not claiming I am an expert, but trying to explain the importance of using your five senses as a diagnostic tool.

I agree with nelson disconnect the oil pump and go premix. I always disconnect my oil pumps on all my scoots so I dont end up like thatcrazyguy

Havent removed it yet but its disconnected from the throttle cable and from the carb! On my list of cosmetic things to do.

Let's say I would go with a 50:1 ratio. A full tank is 5700ml (5,7l) I would add then 114ml (0,114l) oil. Is that correct? Once added do i have to mix with something or should i put the oil before adding gasoline for better mixing?

Mix in seperate fuel can , then pour into scooter tank.

I usually mix in a seperate can like Pimp suggested. When pre-mixing on the road, I wait until my tank is close to empty so I can pump exactly one gallon into it. I add 3 oz. of oil (I pre-mix at 45:1) and then shake the crap out of my scoot like I'm mad at it lol. I learned that from a 2strokd post...

niz76LoL when on the road do you add the 3oz before putting gasoline or after?

I put the oil in before, but it probably doesn't much matter if you shake the scoot hard enough! In my mind, the incoming fuel from the pump is helping to get it mixed up...

I was thinking of keeping the oil pump and add an additional 50:1 ratio into the tank just to be on the safe side. It could be that 50:1 is a bit high when using the oil pump and I might have to go for a lower amount depending on the spark plug reading. I was thinking of putting oil and gasoline into the tank now while the 50cc block is still on it so that the mixed stuff can flow a bit through the hoses and all and then start putting the BBK on it. That would prevent the BBK from running nearly dry the first time. Not really confident that lubricating the parts with 2T oil is enough when firing up the very first time.

How long has it been since you rode the bike? I have recently acquired a yamaha razz 1988 with 59 miles! It's slow but had been stored in does and is nice. I cleaned carb was full of 2t juice and fired right up. Mixing 50:1 in tank and running pump is excessive! U will foul plugs. It is a pain to mix when riding but I do it. I mix 32:1 1/4 gallon =1oz oil. I oil in after gas. Take off kick stand and hold breaks and rock back and forth.
