Honda Elite S 2001. It has the AF16E motor It is in sad shape, and it is missing some plastics, but it does run. Under 10,000 miles on it, and I doubt it has ever been over 25mph. Along with that scooter, I also got a 1980 something elite. Only has frame, wheels and motor with a locked up gearbox, a real terd! I believe it has the AF05 motor? I may jut part it out if anyone is interested. I traded my stock Vento Triton for them. I really hated to see my only genuine Vento go, but I have always wanted a AF16E motor to play with. It will likely be quite a while before I do anything at all to the Elite S, I got too many other scooter projects going ATM.

Friend of mine has one of those. The carburetor is messed up so the auto enricher doesn't function. I looked and looked and couldn't find another carb for it. All the carbs I found that were listed had the enricher on the wrong side of the carb. It runs good but it's not very fast. The tiny tires make me nervous. lol

You are right, they do have some small wheels!

Nice Score! Seems Birdman has shown those things can be stupid fast! Yeah, 71mph is a lot faster than I want to go...I think! I wonder how fast it would go with 300lbs on it? Uh oh, I see lots of stuff available for this thing!

125cc 100+MPH Elites are not hard to come by in Taiwan. Im stoked for you man AF motors are cool. FYI AF18 bore will fit on your AF16 no problem, but you have to use an AF18 exhaust as well because the stock AF16 one wont fit anymore...

Since you mentioned the PG short/polini corsica combo is tried and true, that is the way I am going. As a matter of fact, I found a PG short last night on feebay for $164 shipped, so I grabbed it. Now I gotta find the polini kit somewhere, they seem to be scarce ATM. I gotta save some money up first anyway. I dont see me getting into this project until later this year, or maybe even next year, but at least it can happen now.

Nice find OG! Birdman is right the guys in Asia build crazy fast AF18/16 motors. He should be able to put you in touch with a couple of Hawaiian suppliers for what you need. My research showed the difference between the 18&16 were the exhaust, carb and air box. All things you'll be replacing anyway.
