Picked this basically New 2014 TaoTao Thunder last week from an old man for $400 , it's only has 166 miles on it.. as soon as I got it home I Tore into it...lol installed 50mm BBK Upjetted carb drilled out stock Exhaust for better Flow. installed New 17/49 gear set.. runs great. Plan to install Perf coil & CDI And A9 cam. Plus performance Variator Kit..  |

Nice.I got the blue one about a month ago.I put the DLH perf variator on with 6 gr rollers seems to work good .tryed 5/6/7/8 gr rollers but the 6 worked best.I got a bbk I have to put on still.can you tell me how you drilled out the exhaust? and what main jet you used for the bbk.? I think you'll like the thunder.patrick

I think you'll like the thunder.patrick i just drilled 2- 1/8" holes in the end of muffler. Have to check but I think I'm running a 90 or 92 Jet... i plan to install a Performance Variator soon. Still breaking in in the motor but had it up to 50/55 mph so far.. |

So I just got the same bike last week (in black too) I've ordered a new car coil carb and air filter (I sans get rid of the air box and make it look more open underneath) and I'm going to get a news exhaust i have 1 in mind but I would like 1 thats underset or a dual exhaust looking one if you know of a good site I'd love to know
