Step one completed. On my now running second 2009 Jinlun Sunny jl50qt-8, i had to splice in cdi plugs and install a working cdi unit. it took about an hour of kick starting it, adjusted idle speed screw a little vroom vroom, took it for a test drive, runs well, returned idle speed scew where it was, shut it off, kick started it one time it fired right up.
Soon I will begin a bbk project with it.
stay tuned.

project is canceled. not enough confidence. If you go to the tech section and read up on them 'how-to", you'll do that with your eyes closed. When i bought my first BBK, i had the box in my computer room for over a month. Everyday after work i would read up the BBK installation tutorial. I took a few notes like, how to set up the rings and at what angle, ring gap but that was it. I had this thing printed in my mind just as if i had watched brent do it over and over. When the time came, i slaped on the BBK, kickstarted it a few times and VROOOM!!! It was alive and running good. Now you drag your butt to the tech section and read up NOW !!!!

New parts are on their way. Update: Friend of mine, introduced me to an old timer farmer/motorcycle guy, that said he will help me with the bbk and jetting/carb tuning.
