Crossbred Scooter Trailbike Thing

I found this while cruising "scooters" in eBay Motorcycles. While it is somewhat ungainly looking I think you will agree that it incorporates a lot of desirable features. I've never seen anything quite like it. Note the brace, rear disc and exterior reservoir rear shock. It also has an oil cooler. Very interesting.... seems to have the best of both the scooter and motorcycle worlds. I would imagine it would go at least 50. $700 opening bid, no reserve, built in Thailand. The script says it easily wheelies too.

Interesting. Never seen one like that for sure. Why can't they put features like those on a scooter that isn't ugly?

It looks kinda cool and I think it would be fun till something breaks and then you'd most likely play hell getting parts for it. (Thailand??) I think an old Honda Trail 70 would be a better investment for less money up front maybe. You can soup them up a little and they'll wheelie.

I love midbikes, but I don't think we can tag 'em here in MD. I know we couldn't tag Chinese midbikes or pitbikes and I would think the CT70 would be the same. Can't ride 'em like scooters with no registration either. I've got a midbike sitting under the stairs in my garage because I don't really enjoy riding much when I can't leave the yard or a parking lot.
