Looking to buy a 80cc bbk and need advice on a good brand. Not looking for a race setup, just a good quality for every day riding. Don't wanna buy a piece of crap I'll have problems with.

Go with a cast iron Italian bore. Thats about as reliable as it will get

Most of the stuff is actually ~70cc. Then it generally jumps to about 90cc, but that requires machining the cases and a new crank as well as the new cylinder kit. If all you want is a good daily rider an iron sport BBK ~70cc will do well for most needs. Motoritech from Autotech355, Hoca, Polini, Stage6, Malossi, Top Performance are a few that many here have used with good results. You may need to change the main jet and perhaps tweak the roller weight. Add a tuned pipe later that's suitable for the sport kit like a Leo Vince ZX-R or Stage6 Pro Replica for example, or even a street pipe that's more stealthy like an SP3 or Stage6 Street and you'll get more out of it.
