10w40 , 15w40. Synthetic is kinda a waste imo. Auto grade oil is fine due to material in metal cyl. Etc. P.s. W stands for Winter & not weight.

10w40 its hot as heck in Florida. I agree with pimp about the synthetic oil. You should be doing an oil change on a more regular basis so you don't need the longevity of a synthetic.

For an otherwise stock scooter, don't bother IMO. Maybe if you have an open filter and need a solution. There are other ideas in the four-stroke section of the tech library though. Thanks man. So the additional pressure caused by a 47mm piston and larger valve head wouldn't be something to worry about at all? I already ordered it. Just interested in performance. Is it going to cause any problems for me? e.g. foamy oil.....?

I've never used one like that. I have heard of oil foaming issues with dipstick adapters, but I believe that was only when people tried to also use a vacuum connection on some catch can designs.

I use 15w40 Rotella T. I use it in my scooter, motorcycle, cars and trucks. Cheap and has a higher zinc rating than most other oils. Only oil I've ever used that every time I change it, it looks like it did when I put it in! Just my two cents..
