:welcome: So it starts and idles fine, but it is unresponsive when you try to move at all or is it only having problems when you try to accelerate with lots of throttle? Either way, I suggest reading over the page linked below to give you an idea of what's going on and what to look for. Installing an aftermarket carburetor is NOT plug and play. It often requires a good deal of tuning for proper operation. hondanighthawks.net/carb14.htm

Carburetor or wath?
With all due respect please be aware of the Modify Post function. Another helpful function is the Preview function below the Message box. I suffer from being inept at spelling and making keyboarding errors as much as anyone but have found the Opera and Google Chrome browsers with their built in spell checkers to be very helpful in making my posts more readable and understandable.
Some of you may think that I am being too critical and that spelling and grammar does not really matter in forums for enthusiasts of scooters and I welcome your criticisms of my opinions. I personally find I am more likely to respond to an inquiry that I can readily read and understand than one that I struggle to decipher.
Breaking up long posts into double spaced paragraphs greatly improves readability as well.
Brent goes to great lengths to provide a site and forum that is very usable, helpful, professional and understandable. We can all do our part in enhancing this great resource by being a bit more careful and conscious of what we actually post.
Yeah, I'm an old guy (nearly 60) and wireless and cyber communication shortcuts have their place but we still need to be able to understand each other without undue struggle. :2cents:

Can we please have some more details?
1) Stage 6 has several 24mm carb kits, which one? 2) knowing the size of engine is important, along with it's state of tune.
I am not about to suggest that you can't make a 24mm carb work on a stock 50cc motor, but it would be tricky, as the intake velocities would be low.

Again: I see a 24mm Delorto (VHST), a 24mm OKO (PWK copy), a 24mm Mikuni copy, and a "real" 24mm Mikuni.

The symptoms you've given us so far are only telling me that your idle circuit is close enough to work. Otherwise, I'm really not sure what it's doing. Like I said earlier, is it any time you try to speed up the engine or does it run OK aside from trying to use a lot of throttle or what? Do you start having problems at 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full throttle or what? Does it smoke or sputter or bog? What does the spark plug look like? There's just no way to give you any decent advice without more info.

Plus..... we need to know what you have now, what jet is in your carb, verify the needle clip hasn't jumped off in shipping, and it is in the middle slot.
I have no idea what Delorto carbs ship with, I know a 24mm Mikuni ships with a 130 main jet, and OKO's ship with anything .

OK, so you said it's a 24mm, but that shows a 21mm. Is that image the exact carb, or did you really get a 24mm?
A 120 main along with a power jet sounds a bit much, especially if it's the 21mm. I'm not used to carbs with power jets, so maybe someone with more experience there will chime in. I read that the power jet can make tuning more difficult, so you may wish to consider disabling it, at least to get a ballpark tune. Again, maybe someone more experienced with these carbs can offer better info.
I also see that the carb is supposed to come with tuning instructions. It would be a good idea to read those over completely.

Yes,a power jet should be plugged(cap hose)until the initial jetting is done.A 120 Keihin jet is about equal with a 107 Mikuni. What other engine mods do you have?
