One thing I do not like is sellers that make their listings PRIVATE.
I always ask myself "What do they have to hide?"
Other than that, I have purchased from sellers with worse feedback than that and usually do ok.
Just read the feed back and make sure most of it is not the item you are buying.
OH WAIT! You can't...because they made their auctions PRIVATE...
See how that works?

2stroked,
If an eBay item does not match the description you will get a refund including shipping. I got an item from joshcloseouts that was not as described and eBay gave me a full refund with shipping after I escalated my complaint that they would not pay return shipping. I got a refund and I kept the tool.

That may be 38 bad reviews out of 2000 items sold? Some neg feedback could be idiot buyers who didnt research item ,or impatient hot heads? Out of 38 may be 8 legit issues? People never try to resolve issues before hitting the neg feedback.

Ya know moogys, I thought it looked awful damn small. It's listed for a beamer, but its for an Eton America beamer. I bet that's the diff, the original ETon Beamers are dc, the ones from Alpha are probably ac.

I avoid eBay like the plague for this very reason.

Just my experience anyway..heck I got my sj2000 for free!!!! Same here. I've bought thousands of things through ebay, but only had one seller I had to leave negative feedback to, but it wasn't anything related to scooters. Most of the sellers I've ordered scooter parts from that had any negative feedback was because the buyer was not knowledgeable enough to either know to buy the right part, or didn't know how to use it properly. It's funny how you can read some of these negative reviews and see this.

negative feedback should only be left if for whatever reason you cant sort it out between the seller and you, which is highly unlikely if they run a store on ebay because they value their feedback a LOT

A lot of negative feedback comes in on slow shipping I've bought & sold other items on the siite only 1 person has ever left me negative feedback & that was in retaliation.
I purchased an "in stock" item from a guy 90 minutes drive from me & it took 3 weeks to arrive. He took 19 days to ship it and I paid extra for signature confirmation and overnight shipping. Turned out that after I had credit card company & PayPal both investigate got my money refunded & his account shut down by eBay. But I got faster action from Visa than PayPal. Private auctions cost more so see if he has a history of private auctions under completed or just did it by accident. If he's having stuff drop shipped that will also be a reason he may be having private auctions & negative or neutral feedback. Watch neutral also sometimes they will refund you if you leave neutral feedback since it doesn't drop the rating.

I gave up selling on ebay, I removed all my listings. I still 100% ratings.
I also look at the number of sales to feedback ration too and the comments.
