OK, Here is the run down. It is to narrow and unstable at a speed over about 20 mph. Think I'll try some 2 inch spacers and see how that works.? Some proper tires will help also. If that don't work, I have a saws-all and a welder and I'm not afraid to use it. What I need "like everyone else" is MONEY. It will come. It just takes time, however the lottery would be sweet. It almost has my name in it.It should just come to me. That being said. I need to adjust the brakes front and back. Finnish the front plastics and come up with some front fenders. Any ideas on fenders? I will be getting it tagged this week. Soon it will be a ridding project. Thanks everyone for watching and encouraging more to come.

I don't know how yours is set up but when I worked at that scooter shop a couple months back I test rode a bunch of used Chinese quads that were in for repair and they had cheap plastic bushings in the front end steering and suspension linkages that sucked which made the steering very sloppy. They wandered all over the road. It was very unnerving.

not sure if you like the idea but if you cut the end of a plastic 55 gallon drum then cut that in half it would give you two half round fenders with inners cheap and simple but is just an idea

I have done this for trailer fenders and it worked well enough to keep spray and road grime down lol

Like everyone else I have problems, but the universe provides. Not always what you you want when you want it, but you I do get what I need. My wife's transmission went out and I also needed a welder to put some tabs on my scooter build. I also needed a transmission jack. What to do? Buy the welder and build the transmission jack head for my jack. So now that I have a welded, more updates coming soon on the build. Thanks for watching and encouraging.

Lovin the thread! From one Virginia boy to another, good job man. Once you get it riding more stable/safer, would love to see some performance upgrades for a 45-50mph street machine.
I personally think street tires all the way around will tack on some speed (less resistance/friction/weight), be easier on the motor and help with stability at higher speeds. Be careful on it though, I could just imagine doing 50mph on that!
