I just installed the LV pipe on my Kymco Vitality 4T. It was a christmas gift, and I was a little nervous that it wouldn't fit, since is was actually designed for the Agility model, but it bolted right up. It came with a restricter in the head pipe, but that was easily removed with the dremel & chisel. It looks great, I think. It sounds great too. It's definitely louder, but I dig it. Have a look: Now the bad news: it's still not any faster. Before and after installing it, I did timed runs over a marked distance of about a quarter mile. I did it three times each time and the before & after averages were nearly identical. Too bad. I still like it. I always mod my cars, and it just feels right to have an exhaust on my scoot.

It sounds faster, so that counts for something for sure. Looks nice too. You might wanna do a plug check or just try the next step up in jetting and see if your times improve at all.
I must say, it seems odd to me to route the pipe directly in fron tof the fresh air intake. :stumped:

Hmm, that is the same pipe i was looking at for my guilty.... no faster... that's a bummer..... The other kymcos are'nt as bad for covering up the air intake.....usually go right under..

Remember, the pipe was actually made for your bike, Bat. It fits mine, but it was clear during the install that it wasn't designed for the Vitality. I'm not too woried about the pipe running in front of that air-intake grill. That only directs air back toward the cylinder head, right? The Vitality has several other ducts and scoops serving the same purpose. Also, airflow in that area is really good at speed. The pipe itself is *nearly* touchable even after long rides. Weirdly the muffler-can is much hotter (more thermal mass? Not sure why).
There's a bigger problem that you two didn't notice... . Anything else look a bit less accesable than it should be?

Ah, it looks like a jolly good time to check your oil. As long as both scoots are 139QMB, you'd think the routing around the engine should be the same. That would mean it's just a poor design unless the scoot it's intended for has clearance issues that can't be worked around easily. This surprises me for a Leo Vince pipe.

Ding! Ding! Ding! I'll actually have to remove the muffler to get the dipstick out. That's balls. My plan is to just keep a good look/sniff out for leaks, and my fingers crossed. I'll be changine the oil ever 1000km anyway. If it's losing it somewhere, I'll notice then. I hope.

Very nice Grimsby. It's not faster. Re jet, ot did I miss where you did? Oh yeah, I see where it's been mentioned. By all means check your plug. I bet you could use a couple of sizes larger, depending on your air filter.

The oil dipstick problem is the only reason I have not bought a Leo Vince. The price is right. Quality and sound are good but, the header pipe seems to be a real problem with my 139qmb. I don't wanna pull the exhaust to check the oil. I was thinking of a stock or different header with the LV Muffler Think this would work???
