Things I would like free or next to free...
It might be something just taking up space in your garage.
I want to try to avoid buying from unknown internet dealers that price rape you. Everyone here seems cool, and for the most part, legit.
Thanks in advance for even taking the time to look!
As I acquire these parts i will update the list... and obviously some of these things I'll have to buy brand new, I'm just putting a list together of my mod plans.
72cc(47mm) BBK <~~~~~CORRECTION
matching head (if possible)
a carb better than the stocker Chinese one i have
5 gram sliders or rollers
free flow air filter
oil catch/crankcase vent
bigger idle jet
bigger main jet
front fairing for a 50cc znen retro scoot (some dipstick knocked it over the other night and thought i wouldn't see my paint on his bumper.
possibly an exhaust system
So far that is all. If you have any other suggestions, of course I'll listen...
Thanks Again

You'll need to know which carb you are using before considering jetting. I tried a 150 carb for a bit, but ended up back to the stock carb/intake. I could get better mileage and throttle response was better. You could get good response out of a larger carb too, but it's easy with the accelerator pump on the stock carb. Some places sell larger carbs with pumps, but the aren't gonna be cheap.
Just to be sure you are aware, 80cc kits are likely to decrease the life of your engine, or at least your crank. I installed a new stock replacement crank and managed just over 2,000 miles before my crank failed. I'm definitely not the only one with this sort of experience. The 80cc kits will make a little more power, but you will sacrifice reliability over a 70cc kit.

If it's 49mm as stated above, it's 78cc.

Since you are trying to stay on a budget and it's gonna be a 47mm kit, I'd stick with the stock carb for sure. Then ya just need jets for it. If you end up buying the Stage 4 kit from Enviro, it'll include jets I think. If you go with something different, a 38 pilot is about the standard with a filter upgrade. Main jets usually end up 88-92. If you do port work to the head /intake you might need something larger.

What is the stock jet size on one of these? I want to order a set of different jets, for some trial and error tuning, but Enviromoto's set starts at #80. Is that smaller than stock?

Stock is around 80 I think. It varies, like most things with Chinese scoots.

Stick with the stock head as well. You might polish it up a bit and match the ports. I think GT has some pics of him doing one, if not a tutorial.
With a 72cc I would use these things off your list
5 gram sliders or rollers-depends on your weight. Tune the Variator weights of rmp.
free flow air filter
oil catch/crankcase vent
bigger idle jet-Try the stock one first
bigger main jet

So I am gonna be needing these parts sooner rather than later. I layed the scoot down on Monday. Some chic pulled out in front of me, hit the scoot, sent me into the curb, scoot fell, i flew, into a parking meter. My body took most of the damage. I popped my wreck cherry... And I'm not scared to jump back on...

Ouch. Good to hear you're ready to get back on, and I assume no major injuries. I've never been scared to get back on, but wrecks and people doing crazy stuff to you tend to give you a heightened sense of awareness, and that's a definitely a good thing.
